Our Patent Attorneys

Four patent attorneys are currently working in our law firm:

They are supported by several paralegals which are very committed.

About Our Law Firm

Our law form was established by Werner and Ilse Freischem in 1966. Their son Stephan followed their footsteps and joined the law firm of his parents. Over the time, several patent attorneys joined the law firm. Although the law firm grew over the years, we were able to retain our familiar cohesion. If you would like to learn more about our history, please see the history section. Our office is conveniently located in the center of Cologne at Barbarossaplatz which is only 7 minutes far away from Cologne central train station. You may get to us by using public transportation. If you would like to visit us by car, we provide parking spaces at our office premises.

Every patent attorney is admitted before all relevant offices and courts of the IP field. In particular, all our patent attorneys are admitted to practice before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Every patent attorney has obtained a degree in physical or engineering sciences and qualified after many years of additional training as a German and European patent attorney.
